Extreme Series connecting rods for the Audi RS3 / TT-RS (DAZA, CEPA, DNWA) are forged from premium EN24T Steel through-hardening alloy steel (248–302 HB) and CNC-machined to exacting tolerances to deliver maximum strength, reliability, and perfect fitment for high-boost builds.

The EN24T Steel is a popular grade through-hardening alloy steel due to its excellent machinability in the “T” condition. The two-piece I-Beam forging offers an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio, while tight production controls ensure center-to-center dimensions are held to 0.001″ and bore tolerances are accurate to 0.0002″. Each rod is shot-peened, multi-stage heat-treated, magnaflux inspected, and FEA-validated to guarantee fatigue life and dimensional stability under extreme use.

Bushings are manufactured from AMPCO 18 for superior wear and fatigue resistance. Bend and twist are tightly controlled, and sets are weight-matched to ±1 gram for optimal balance and reduced reciprocating mass.

Standard hardware includes ARP L19 cap fasteners rated at 260,000 psi, and an upgrade to ARP Custom Age 625+ fasteners is available.
